We Strive To Keep Abreast With Current Developments In Drying Science
Having the right tools without having an understanding of how to use them effectively would be pointless. The field of structural drying is moving ahead very quickly. The best discussion we have seen on this evolution is from the book by Ken Larsen called Leadership In Restorative Drying, Second Edition. The new insights into structural drying are now allowing us to enhance the drying process by focusing an input of energy directly upon the wet material and thereby improving drying times. It also allows for more effective calculations regarding the prognosis of the drying goals within the remediation project. A tool which has just been developed by the International Dry Standard Organization called Dry Standard Report Software has the capability of helping the restoration professional track this information on a mobile device.
Value to the Customer
With the proper application of knowledge and experience, combined with the right tools, the customer has the best chance of having their property returned to a pre-loss condition, in the shortest time possible while effectively avoiding secondary damage to the structure. The customer will be presented with a well documented plan for reaching the drying goals and be continually updated and informed on the daily progress as the project proceeds. This process allows for a regular review of the drying status at key intervals so that any changes in the scope of the project or time lines for drying can be acknowledged and documented. At the end of the project the customer can be confident that their property has been dried properly according to the accepted industry standards and have the documentation in hand to prove it.
Values and Guidelines:
Super Bee operates from a perspective which places the customer's well being as a primary concern. When we are called in to respond to a situation where the health and safety of individuals is in potential of being compromised, either by water loss, sewer backup or mold contamination, we view our work as a first responder as being critical in minimizing potential damage both to the health of the customer and also to their dwelling or business.
We also believe that it is our ethical responsibility to present the customer with the results of our findings in such a manner that they have the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding the remediation of their property. Super Bee's recommendations for remediation are based on sound research and the best practices in order to promote the restoration of the property to a pre-loss condition.
We believe that these potential hazards are of such a serious nature that specialized training and experience is required to abate the issues presented. We thus strive to keep abreast with the current training and developments in the restoration industry and remain committed to certification as a company and in following the industry's current guidelines relating to each specific process.
